Mrs. Harton's second grade class celebrated Disney Day at Hutchins by taking a virtual field trip to Disneyland and getting a photo op with their 2nd grade teacher!🏰🐭✨

Mrs. Fernandez's second-grade class has had an amazing end of the year. On Camp Out day, they wore jammies and listened to stories in a camping tent. Then they explored Disney World, learned about the different parks, and experienced virtual rides. To end the day, they each received their own Disney character award!
Field Day activities were a blast! There were water slides, bounce houses, musical dots, tug of war, and more!
Lastly, they enjoyed a theme day called "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". Students listened to a read-aloud, participated in themed activities, and watched the movie. To get the full experience, lunch was spaghetti and meatballs! Mrs. Fernandez's class is ready for the 3rd grade!

The HOSA Officer Induction and luncheon was buzzing with excitement as the outgoing officers passed the torch to new leaders.
Makayla Bard transitions from President to Past President, and Alyx Fisher, previously President Elect, eagerly anticipates her role as President. Adria Gardner was welcomed as the new Vice President, while Brylan Rodriguez continues as the diligent Secretary. Alani Jimenez, the Treasurer, looks forward to another year ensuring financial stability. Jakelen Munoz will remain the Reporter, and Daniela Rodriguez will join as Historian.
The ceremony marked both an ending and a new beginning for HOSA.
HOSA members hosted a blood drive Wednesday, May 14th in honor of Amelia Lyford. Of the 121 donors who attempted to give blood, the blood bank collected 68 units of whole blood and 25 apheresis which comes out to 115units! Thank you to everyone who supported this effort!

Mrs. Ener's class earned an ice cream party for having 100% return, every Friday, all year!!
ECHS would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to each of the high school's incredible educators retiring this year. The El Campo Rotary Club recognized and celebrated their scholarship recipients this week. Each senior was celebrated for their academic achievements, dedication, and commitment to making a positive impact in their community.

🎉Hutchins Teachers and Staff celebrated being recognized as a CKH National Showcase Campus with a delicious lunch from Georgia Mae's Food Truck and cupcakes! We are so proud of their dedication and commitment to Capturing Kids Hearts!
Mrs. Kacer and Mrs. Hopper's clinical classes delivered some well-earned thank you posters and treats to their rotation locations. Thank you to El Campo hospital and clinics, Dr. Swenson, Paradigm nursing home, Parson's chiropractic, Coastal Plains Animal Clinic, EC Animal hospital, SPJST, Berkeley Eye Center, and ECISD schools for letting us learn from you!
The Myatt Dance Party was one for the books! A huge THANK YOU to Jason Helton with Velocity Mixing Entertainment & Lighting for keeping the energy high and the music flowing at our dance party! Your DJ skills truly made the day unforgettable.
We also want to give a big shoutout to the El Campo Ricebird cheerleaders, Derby Dolls, and student athletes for joining us and showing up in such a fun and supportive way. Your presence made the younger kids’ day extra special, and it was amazing to see everyone dancing and having such a great time together.
