We’re celebrating World Down Syndrome Day a little early at El Campo ISD by wearing our loudest, craziest socks. This year’s theme is "Together Against Loneliness." It’s a great reminder that everyone deserves a place to belong. It’s more than just a fashion statement; it’s about building a stronger, more inclusive community for all our students! 💙💛

Red shirts and bright smiles! Our Ricebirds had an absolute blast at Field Day! From parachute games to foot races, our students were beaming with joy all morning! ❤️ We're so thankful for the beautiful weather and that Rice, Wharton, East Bernard, and Boling joined us for all the fun!
Check out the video recap of the day.

Check out the ECMS Invention Convention! Our talented students showcased their incredible GT project inventions, and it was a joy to see parents and staff engaging with these creative minds. Guests received $100 in Investor Bucks to "invest" in their favorite inventions—what an inspiring day!

Join us today for exciting send-offs! Boys at 3:15 and Girls at 4:30. Let’s cheer them on for Bi-District play! Bring your bells, whistles, and posters to the Weight Room Parking Lot! See you there! 🎊⚽️

ECMS cafeteria ladies greeted students back with St. Patrick’s Day green donuts! 🍀

Myatt was thrilled to welcome a wonderful new author, Rena Dluhos, who recently shared her enchanting book, "Paulie the Pelican’s First Solo Flight," with several classes! The kids were absolutely captivated!
Every adventurous journey begins with a single step. In "Paulie the Pelican’s First Solo Flight," Paulie takes a leap into the unknown, feeling both nervous and excited. His courageous first step teaches children that true bravery isn't about being fearless; it’s about embracing challenges with self-trust. This heartwarming tale is a delightful way for young readers to build confidence and face new experiences with optimism and courage!

Field events will start at 3:45 pm, and running events will follow! #SoaringRicebirds🦅

Thank you, Mrs. Espita and SPJST, for taking the time to speak with our students and share your knowledge and experience!
