🎉 We're excited to share that Sophia Perez shone at the UIL State solo and ensemble competition on May 23rd, earning a silver medal with a score of 2!
🌟 Additionally, Daniela Rodriguez showcased her incredible talent at the UIL State Theatrical Design contest on May 16th, proudly placing 5th for her hair and makeup design.

H-E-Buddy made a stop at Myatt Elementary to say THANK YOU for collecting plastic bags for the H-E-B Earth Day project. Myatt collected 23,566 plastic bags. That amount earned them a $300 H-E-B gift card! The top-class winners for Myatt were Ms. Peterson in PreK and Ms. Treme in kindergarten.

The ECHS phlebotomy class would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our friends, family, classmates, teachers, and community members who volunteered.

Valedictorian Kelsi Prihoda, daughter of Chad and Laura, is set to pursue Health Sciences: Pre-Radiation Therapy at Texas State University, aiming to become a radiation therapist.
Salutatorian Eliska Shumbera, daughter of Dee Ann and John, will embark on a journey at LeTourneau University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with aspirations of becoming an aerospace engineer.

Myatt students celebrated positive behavior with Ricebird-style dancing led by Ricky, Football Players, Derby Dolls, and Cheerleaders. A special thank you to Mr. Jason Helton for donating his time and providing an amazing DJ experience, complete with party lights and smoke effects. It was a fun-filled celebration recognizing our students’ hard work and outstanding behavior!
Mrs. Wenglar’s class at ECHS wrapped up the school year with lots of fun and celebration — their annual awards breakfast, a visit to Wharton County Junior College, hatching chicks in the classroom, and a special trip to The Brookwood Community for lunch and shopping. El Campo’s very own Doc Easter came for a surprise visit to Ms. Easter’s classes. He came to talk about the importance of hydration, working hard towards your goals, and what it means to be a Ricebird! He provided the students with little goodies and Gatorade. Thanks, Doc!
