EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR MRS. HOPPER'S THEORY CLASSES - Students in Mrs. Hopper's theory class had the unique opportunity to participate in a Zoom call with a current Texas A&M Medical student.
Before the call, students researched what it takes to become a physician and were asked to come up with three thoughtful questions to ask during the meeting. This preparation enabled them to engage meaningfully and make the most of their experience.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to gain firsthand knowledge and inspiration directly from those currently pursuing a career in medicine. Thanks to Texas A &M for always reaching out to help our students.

Mrs. Seaman's third-grade class had a great time bringing items from home to test whether they sink or float in the science lab.

Mrs. Janik's PreK kiddos celebrated fall in the classroom! They enjoyed all things Apples for Fun Friday, with lots of fine motor activities, apple-themed books, songs, and dancing while wearing apple hats. They even made and enjoyed some homemade applesauce! ❤️🍎❤️🍏❤️ See the fun here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAG0X3DZW4Y/vxB0m4uhdj3rweNX8o6fvQ/watch?utm_content=DAG0X3DZW4Y&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h56a4ff264d

Mrs. Kacer and Mrs. Hopper are very excited to get the year going with El Campo's HOSA organization. There were over 100 health students who showed interest in joining, and the September meeting was busy with information on competitions, registration with National HOSA, and cutting tags for our upcoming Boo Gram fundraiser.
Hey, Northside!

Ricebirds win!

Mrs. Wenglar’s class at ECHS wrapped up their unit on community and responsibility with a sweet project — Kindness Rice Krispies! Together they followed a recipe, practiced sequencing the steps, and topped it all off with a unanimous stamp of approval on their delicious creation.

Mrs. Hopper's Principles of Health Science class has been focusing on teamwork in the healthcare field. For a Fun Friday Activity, we took on the Marshmallow Challenge. In this challenge, students were assigned specific roles and had to collaborate as a team to build the tallest structure possible using only 20 spaghetti sticks, 1 yard of masking tape, 1 yard of yarn, and one marshmallow. This is one challenge the students won't forget!

Mrs. Kacer's Medical Terminology class performed "surgery" on their potato patients to practice directional terms.
