🍀 Help us wish ECHS student Tori Biskup luck! She competes at 5:30 tonight in the state HOSA competition. If she places in the top ten on the written portion, she’ll advance to round two and demonstrate skills tomorrow.

Several ECHS senior girls had the opportunity to attend a Women In Industry Conference in Galveston at Moody Gardens. The students also toured Gallant Industrial, located in La Porte. They listened to keynote speakers and attended breakout sessions regarding the importance of attitude, knowledge, timeliness, and professionalism. The girls visited with numerous companies and gained valuable information for a variety of job opportunities. Chaperones were Mrs. Zahn and Ms. Humphreys.

A big thank you to First State Bank for presenting at Ricebird University on March 27th! They provided excellent information on various accounts that can be set up, saving money and the importance of establishing good credit!
Thank you for all you do for our community!

Yesterday, March 21, was World Down Syndrome Day. The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
Since the chromosomes look like socks, ECISD rocked their socks by wearing mismatched, colorful, zany socks yesterday to support and create awareness.
