The 2026 Special Olympics Summer Games were held April 30 through May 2 in Melissa, Texas. A total of 1,318 athletes from across the state competed in Track and Field events. This year’s Opening Ceremonies featured the theme “Stars of Texas,” celebrating the talent, determination, and spirit of all participants.
Hannah Weathers competed in the softball throw and the 50 meter dash, and she came home with a Bronze medal in the softball throw and a 5th place in the 50 meter dash.
Summer Guthrie received a gold medal for her participation in Fundamentals.
A BIG CONGRATS to the Horse Judging team that finished ⭐️10th⭐️ in the state this week!
