
After learning about how Julius Caesar was one of Rome's most influential leaders, 3rd grade students explored his character to determine how he could have been viewed as both a hero and a traitor to Romans. They analyzed all of the information they learned to take a position and create a plan to debate their position. Ms. Stock's class presented their ideas on how he could be portrayed as a hero, while Ms. Molina's class presented their arguments as to why they believed he was a traitor. See them here:

The Special Olympics Area 22 Gulf Coast Bowling competition took place in Webster on December 7th against 5 other school districts. Our athletes did a great job of representing El Campo!
Hannah Weathers placed 2nd and received a Silver medal.
Summer Guthrie placed 2nd and received a Silver medal.
Zander Maruffo placed 3rd and received a Bronze medal.
Timothy Armstrong placed 4th.
Felix Saenz placed 4th.

ECHS Band Holiday Concert - Thursday, December 12th at 6:30.


ECMS Choir is hosting a Christmas Karaoke Night on Monday, December 16th from 6-8 pm at the ECMS Cafeteria. All ages are welcome. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Concessions will be available! Come and listen/sing along to some Christmas Music or sign up to sing on stage to your favorite Christmas Songs!

The ECHS STARS present their fall production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, this Friday and Saturday. The shows start at 7 pm in the auditorium and are $10 at the door.

Myatt students have been exploring the world of farming and the products we get from animals. High School FFA students visited to showcase the various items we derive from cows, chickens, sheep, and pigs.

For their Community Project, the students of Hutchins Elementary collected over 1900 canned goods and nonperishable food items during November and donated them to the Blessing Cup!
