Students and Parents

Welcome to the El Campo ISD Students and Parents Information Page! Here, you'll find a wealth of resources and important information to support your child's educational journey. This page is your go-to guide for everything you need to know about our district. We're committed to partnering with you to ensure every student thrives and succeeds.

Thank you for being an essential part of our school community!

Resources

  • Regular school attendance is essential. Absences from class may result in serious disruption of a student's education. The student and parent should avoid unnecessary absences.

Two important state laws are discussed in the document below, one dealing with compulsory attendance and the other with how attendance affects the award of a student's final grade or course credit.

  • PreK & Kindergarten

Registration for PreK and Kindergarten is in May of each year. For details, visit the Myatt Elementary homepage.

    Returning Student Registration

At the start of each school year, we ask our current families to update important information and complete annual sign-offs in Skyward. Online registration for returning students for the upcoming school year opens on Skyward Family Access in July.

Disclaimer: ONLINE registration is required, and must be done for each child through the Skyward Family Access Parent Portal before back-to-school events begin. Don't delay... your child's schedule and/or teacher's name will not be released until registration is complete.

See the Student Registration Page for details and assistance.

  • As a matter of policy, the District's dress code is established to teach grooming and hygiene, instill discipline, prevent disruption, avoid safety hazards, and teach respect for authority. Students shall be dressed and groomed in a manner that is clean and neat, and that will not be a health or safety hazard to themselves or others. The District prohibits any clothing or grooming that, in the principal's judgment, may reasonably be expected to cause disruption of or interference with normal school operations.

  • El Campo ISD maintains a nurse at each campus. The nurse is responsible for helping students with health issues, medications, and emergencies, and for tracking the student body's immunization status. See our Health Services webpage for information about immunizations, medication administration, care plans, and documents.
