Congratulations to ECHS Practicum in Culinary Arts student, Gabi Tijerina! She will be continuing her culinary education at The Culinary Institute LeNotre in Houston to pursue her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts.

The Pilot Club of El Campo presented our very own Barbara Hlavaty with the Texas District Special Education Teacher Award! Barbara is devoted to working with the Step II young adult students at El Campo High School and has been an invaluable resource for parents and students who need help in finding the right program facility and resources as students transition from high school to contributing young adults. Barbara is an exemplary example of selflessness. This attribute rubs off on her students. 🎉Way to go Barbara!

8th grade AVID students took a field trip to the University of Houston. They especially loved exploring the rec center and the student center's bowling, arcade, and food court!
