ECISD Special Education Department presents "Ricebird Field Day 2024" featuring the SPED students of Step II, Life Skills and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs.
Parents, come out and watch the kids enjoy a variety of events at Ricebird Stadium!

⌚ Opening Ceremony @ 9:30 am
⭐Please sit in the home side stands for the opening ceremony. Spectators are invited onto the field to watch events after the conclusion of the opening ceremony. Park in the back lot behind the weight room off of Pecan Street. Lunch will be provided to students and staff after the games.
***If it is raining, we will move Field Day into the practice gym. The times will change, and parents will need to stay in the bleachers as there is not enough room on the gym floor for everyone. El Campo will be from 9:00-10:15, and East Bernard, Rice, and Wharton will be from 10:30-11:40.

El Campo ISD's Regular Board Meeting will be held on March 27, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX. A Working Meeting will follow immediately to discuss the 2024-2025 budget.
All meetings of the Board are open to the public and are posted on the District website. These meetings are your opportunity to witness the business of the school district and you are always welcome to attend.

At the Boys’ State Powerlifting Meet, all the Ricebirds hit their personal bests, but Aidan Garcia walked away with some hardware placing 5th in his weight class. He squatted 570, benched 405, and deadlifted 550 totaling 1,525 at 163 body weight!

🥇Kayden Zajicek lead the team with a 71 and tied for first medalist, followed by James Dorotik 81, Trace Matthews 83, Rhett Russell 89, and Ty Ener 91.
