The Ricebird varsity football players chose a teacher who has profoundly influenced their lives to be recognized during Teacher Appreciation Night on Friday evening. It was a memorable event, and these Myatt teachers felt honored to participate. @ElCampoFootball

Students in Ms. Hlavinka's Education and Training Program created their own version of the ideal effective teacher.
They had to identify things an effective teacher says, sees, and hears. They also had to list the positive qualities of an effective teacher.

Mrs. Weathers' class at Hutchins learned about States of Matter ( Liquid, Solid, Gas) by playing with ice cubes that were frozen (Solid State) and then melted into water (Liquid State).
The kids enjoyed playing with the ice and watching it melt in their hands!

Northside students in Mrs. Stehling’s class participated in a math scavenger hunt. Teams worked together to solve problems posted in the hallway. #mathFUNdamentals

All students in Grade 8 and below must be accompanied by an adult at the football game this evening. Parents are not permitted to drop off students at the stadium without an adult present, and the accompanying adult cannot be a high school student.
Students are required to remain seated in the stands and are not allowed to roam. Non-compliance may result in the student being asked to leave the stadium.
