The Health Science Clinical class during their CPR training.

Attention ECMS:

Mrs. Hoppers Anatomy and Physiology students have been studying lab and field investigations and the conservation of resources. They researched the Great Barrier Reef and created a sponge art project where they had to paint, add and cite their research, and present to the class. One week they also took the lesson outside and performed surface temperature testing. They had to gather the research data, create a hypothesis and rationale, make a bar graph, and write an essay regarding their findings.

Advanced Floral Design students created fresh flower arrangements using a pumpkin as their container. Students cleaned out the snowball pumpkins and used a variety of foliage with lavender, peach, and white flowers. Students also calculated design costs and what their arrangements would retail for at a flower shop.

Hutchins PTO hosted a Halloween costume contest and other fun activities for the students. We were very appreciative of our high school students who came to help! See it here: https://tinyurl.com/HutPTCHalloween
