The ECHS STARS competed at the CC Carroll High School TFA Tournament in Corpus Christi this past weekend.
Hannah Purnell was a semi finalist in Prose, Christopher Luera placed 4th in Congress, and Julisa Padron placed 6th in Novice Poetry.

Huge thank you to First State Bank for coming to Myatt to teach students about saving money. The students got to hear a story and make their own bank!





The Derby Dolls had a visitor at the Bay City game. This is Kay Joslin Walling, the first ever Derby Doll Captain. It was such a special opportunity to visit with her and hear stories about the first line and how some of the traditions began that we still take part in today. Mrs. Walling teaches English and Theater in El Paso ISD.
