Maci Bolletino placed 1st in Poetry interpretation
Regina Barnes placed 3rd in Poetry Interpretation
Hannah Purnell placed 1st in Prose Interpretation and 1st in Novice Extemp
Juliana Vasquez placed 1st in Extemp
Julisa Padron placed 3rd in Novice Extemp and 5th in Poetry Interpretation
Fabian Rosas placed 4th in Poetry Interpretation
And Natalie Canales placed 4th in Poetry Interpretation
The STARS also walked away with several Best Of Awards.

El Campo also claimed the Sweepstakes award for Best All Around School at the tournament. GO STARS!
All ECMS Theatre Arts classes performed Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” for principals, counselors, and instructional coaches. Students explored and examined the play’s timeless theme of the ability to transform and change.

El Campo ISD will have an 11:00 early release for all students on Friday, November 18, 2022, the day prior to the Thanksgiving break. Students will return to school on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Students in Mrs. Prihoda’s second grade GT class were treated to special guest reader Kathy Smith (Texas History teacher extraordinaire and school board member). Students were able to talk about their topics for their TPSP projects and hear a great story that tied into the lore that makes Texas great!
