El Campo High School would like to inform parents and community members that, due to the current weather forecast, graduation plans for the Class of 2026 may need to be adjusted. Current forecasts are calling for rain on Thursday and heavier amounts of rain on Friday. As a result, graduation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, as the forecast for Friday appears to be less favorable.
Our goal is to provide the Class of 2026 the opportunity to graduate in Ricebird Stadium, and we will use a timeline and decision-making process that gives us the best opportunity to safely hold the ceremony outdoors.
Any changes to the graduation ceremony location or schedule will be communicated through the El Campo ISD website and district social media accounts.
If weather conditions require the ceremony to be moved indoors, students will be issued 6 tickets for guests due to seating capacity restrictions.
