El Campo ISD's Board Meeting will be held on March 28, 2023, at 7:00 pm at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX. All meetings of the Board are open to the public and are posted on the District website. These meetings are your opportunity to witness the business of the school district and you are always welcome to attend.

ECISD will be closed for Fair Day on Friday, March 31st. Classes will resume on Monday, April 3rd.

Yesterday, March 21, was World Down Syndrome Day. The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
Since the chromosomes look like socks, ECISD rocked their socks by wearing mismatched, colorful, zany socks yesterday to support and create awareness.

5th graders at Northside Elementary practiced area and perimeter while also practicing a life skill - using rulers! Students measured various shapes and then found the area or perimeter of those shapes.

Throughout the month, Northside students participated in a variety of activities/books using the Unique Learning System to learn about each region in the United States! They wrapped up the unit with a mosaic U.S. map.
