Older buildings with outdated HVAC systems, insulation, lighting, and windows contribute to higher energy costs. Last year, ECISD spent $110,000 on maintenance and HVAC installation. Proposition A includes a new academic wing with 28 classrooms, along with special education and life skills classrooms.
