ECHS STEP II will be holding a plant sale on Friday, Feb. 23, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Location: ECHS bus ramp on Ave F
Plants for sale will be petunias, calendula, alyssum, verbena, salvia, and herb boxes containing basil, thyme, rosemary, chives, and parsley.
💲 $3 4" pots or 2 for $5
💲 $6 for quart pots or 2 for $10
💲 $25 for the herb garden
The students in Mrs. Jensen's Pre-K classroom are learning so much during their small group Community-themed center time. Students are taking on different roles and jobs while role-playing as a baker, baking bread, cookies, donuts, etc.; a hair stylist washing, cutting, and styling hair; a counter worker, customer, and cook in McDonald’s (ordering food, taking orders, making the orders); cashier and customer in the grocery store (following and writing grocery lists); and writing letters and mailing them in our Post Office.
The students are guiding their learning by choosing which centers they want to go to based on their curiosity and interests. Through play, the students are developing social and cognitive skills, building upon their usage of language, gaining self-confidence, and fostering their imagination and creativity. This week in the science lab Mrs. Jensen’s Pre-K class learned about snowflakes and made instant snow with Mrs. Winter! We had so much fun playing and building with the snow. On January 24, 2024, El Campo ISD's Board of Trustees will hold a Public Meeting at 5:45 pm. The Regular Meeting will follow at 6:00 pm. Both meetings will be at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX.
All meetings of the Board are open to the public and are posted on the District website. These meetings are your opportunity to witness the business of the school district and you are always welcome to attend.

Parent Engagement Event: Fostering statewide community connections for families of emerging bilingual students. Tuesday, January 23, 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at the Meadow Lane Resource Center - 2620 Meadow Lane in El Campo, Texas.
After carefully reviewing the weather and road conditions predicted for tomorrow, all El Campo ISD campuses and departments will have an on-time 7:50 am start on Wednesday, January 17.
