This week in the science lab Mrs. Jensen’s Pre-K class learned about snowflakes and made instant snow with Mrs. Winter! We had so much fun playing and building with the snow. The students were even able to take some home to share with their families! Mrs. Jensen’s class also earned 10 tokens for great behavior and celebrated with Pajama Day! On January 24, 2024, El Campo ISD's Board of Trustees will hold a Public Meeting at 5:45 pm. The Regular Meeting will follow at 6:00 pm. Both meetings will be at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX.
All meetings of the Board are open to the public and are posted on the District website. These meetings are your opportunity to witness the business of the school district and you are always welcome to attend.

Parent Engagement Event: Fostering statewide community connections for families of emerging bilingual students. Tuesday, January 23, 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at the Meadow Lane Resource Center - 2620 Meadow Lane in El Campo, Texas.

After carefully reviewing the weather and road conditions predicted for tomorrow, all El Campo ISD campuses and departments will have an on-time 7:50 am start on Wednesday, January 17.
Be safe and cautious as all of the students return to school. Dress warm kids!

After closely monitoring the weather and road conditions, and in an abundance of caution for our students and staff, ECISD will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16. Be safe. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 17.


**WINTER WEATHER WATCH** We are actively monitoring the weather for next week. The present forecast calls for cold temperatures with a slight chance of freezing precipitation. We expect to be in school on Tuesday and Wednesday at this time so please have your children dress accordingly. If something changes that would impact the safety of our students and staff we will let you know through our parent contact system by email, text message, and/or phone call. As always, you can also monitor the District's website & social media accounts for the latest information. ⭐Please take this time to update your Family Access contact information in Skyward which ensures that you receive messages from your campus and the District including emails and text messages.

ECISD will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of MLK Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 16.
