Older buildings with outdated HVAC systems, insulation, lighting, and windows contribute to higher energy costs. Last year, ECISD spent $110,000 on maintenance and HVAC installation. Parents, please help by getting your children to school, ensuring they get plenty of sleep, and helping them eat a nutritious breakfast. For the older kids, make sure they charge their Chromebooks.
Proposition A includes a new academic wing with 28 classrooms, along with special education and life skills classrooms. Prop A would provide more space for fine arts students and doubles the cafeteria capacity to serve 500 students. Take a look at what some of these spaces could look like. 🐝The 5 third graders participated in the WCYF spelling bee. Marvin Maples, 2nd from left, placed 3rd in the event.
And, the three girls pictured did El Campo Middle School proud! Savanah Northington made it to the 4th round, Harper Hubenak finished in the top 7, and Brooklynn Kacer (center) placed 2nd overall.
