For their Community Project, the students of Hutchins Elementary collected over 1900 canned goods and nonperishable food items during November and donated them to the Blessing Cup!
A special Thank You goes to Coach Hale and some of the High School athletic boys for helping to load and unload the canned goods!

Come out tomorrow evening at 6 pm to the High School Auditorium to see the ECMS choir's Christmas Concert!

Friendly reminder that students have an extra day off tomorrow! Classes resume Tuesday, December 3.

Mrs. Fernandez's 2nd graders engaged in several Thanksgiving activities packed with learning such as writing and presenting what they are thankful for, learning about the history and creating a First Thanksgiving bracelet, assembling turkeys by sorting fact and opinion feathers, collaborating to make a Favorite Pie graph and listening to a silly story, Turkey Trouble, to earn AR points. The class ended their festive day by joining other second graders to share a meal.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Take this well-deserved break to relax and enjoy quality time with your family and friends!

Students at Hutchins who sold 6 or more items for the fundraiser got the chance to unleash their inner prankster and silly-string the principals!
