Mrs. Harton's second grade class celebrated Disney Day at Hutchins by taking a virtual field trip to Disneyland and getting a photo op with their 2nd grade teacher!🏰🐭✨

Mrs. Fernandez's second-grade class has had an amazing end of the year. On Camp Out day, they wore jammies and listened to stories in a camping tent. Then they explored Disney World, learned about the different parks, and experienced virtual rides. To end the day, they each received their own Disney character award! Field Day activities were a blast! There were water slides, bounce houses, musical dots, tug of war, and more! Lastly, they enjoyed a theme day called "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". Students listened to a read-aloud, participated in themed activities, and watched the movie. To get the full experience, lunch was spaghetti and meatballs! Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades from the gifted and talented program had an exhilarating field trip to the NASA Space Center Houston. They had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about space, planets, and astronauts while touring the astronaut training facility. It truly was an *out of this world* experience!
