Mrs. Hopper's Anatomy & Physiology Healthcare Careers class has been studying the muscular system and disorders and injuries of the muscular system. Recently they learned about shin splints, their definition, symptoms, and various treatment methods. The class also participated in a hands-on lesson on how to properly apply Kinesiology Tape.

School districts do not receive state funding for building schools or making major renovations and instead must use voter-approved bonds which help pay for large projects that get paid back over time, like a mortgage. School districts in Texas have two budgets. Maintenance & Operations (M&O) funds pay for day-to-day operations. Interest & Sinking (I&S) funds pay for capital improvements.
