Several ECHS senior girls had the opportunity to attend a Women In Industry Conference in Galveston at Moody Gardens. The students also toured Gallant Industrial, located in La Porte. They listened to keynote speakers and attended breakout sessions regarding the importance of attitude, knowledge, timeliness, and professionalism. The girls visited with numerous companies and gained valuable information for a variety of job opportunities. Chaperones were Mrs. Zahn and Ms. Humphreys.
El Campo ISD's Board Meeting will be held on March 28, 2023, at 7:00 pm at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX. Yesterday, March 21, was World Down Syndrome Day. The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
Since the chromosomes look like socks, ECISD rocked their socks by wearing mismatched, colorful, zany socks yesterday to support and create awareness.
