Second year Education and Training student Andrea Sanchez designed and created a sensory path for Myatt Elementary as a project for an FCCLA contest. A sensory path is a fun and bright way for children to refocus their energy. Sensory pathways include sets of guided movements designed to engage different parts of the body and brain. Andrea was excited to work with some of her students and teach them how to use the path.

Horticulture students harvested their first round of broccoli and cauliflower this December, and there is lots more to come!


For the first time, we have three ECHS HOSA students moving on to Round 2 of competitions. We had two students compete in Home Health Aid and two in Nurse Assisting....only the top 10 in the area advance. Tori Biskup finished 5th and Adrian Cruz finished 7th in Home Health Aid. Elizabeth Cadena claimed the 10th spot to move on in Nurse Assisting. These three will compete in the Spring Leadership Conference in Clear Lake on Jan 27th. Please help me in wishing them good luck!
