Students in Ms. Hlavinka's Education and Training Program created their own version of the ideal effective teacher.
They had to identify things an effective teacher says, sees, and hears. They also had to list the positive qualities of an effective teacher.
Homecoming Dress Up Days at ECHS: 9/18 - Class Color Wars (Freshman - Orange, Sophomores - Yellow, Juniors - Green, Seniors - Blue). 9/19 - Throwback: Dress in the clothes of your favorite decade. 9/20 - Barbie & Ken: Break out your pink! 9/21 - Hawaiian: Dress for a tropical vacation. 9/22 - Red Out!
Ms. Kacer's Medical Terminology class created bones to learn their structure, layers, and parts.

We are incredibly proud of our Ricebird football players who recently took time out of their busy schedules to visit Hutchins and lend a helping hand in the classroom! 🎒✏️
During their visit, the football players not only assisted students with their classwork, but they brought smiles to the faces of both students and teachers alike, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. 📖🤗

A note from Counselor Mrs. Smith: The deadline to sign up for the PSAT is Wednesday, September 13, 2023. This is a hard deadline so orders can be finalized. Sign up in the Counseling office. Payment of $18 is due when you sign up. You will need to have your Chromebook charged for the test.
Test Date & Times:
10th Grade AVID - Tuesday, October 24, 2023. All 10th grade AVID students will test as a group.
10th Graders (non AVID) - Wednesday, October 25, 2023. All who sign up through the counseling office will test in the Science Lecture Hall.
