Mrs. Kacer's Medical Terminology class participated in a senses lab. They determined which eye was their dominant eye, tested their nearsighted vision, found the correlation between taste and smell, and discovered which area of their tongue was most sensitive to sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. #CTE

Mrs. Hopper's Theory-clinical rotation class had the pleasure of having guest speaker Maria Happe, MSN, RN, CCRN-K , talk to the class. Maria has experience in the Pediatric ICU at Texas Children’s in Houston and helped design ICU suites for children and families. The class was engaged and learned many things from her lecture titled "Possibilities in Nursing, Never Stop Exploring". Thank you, Maria, the class enjoyed you!

The Special Olympics Area 22 Gulf Coast Basketball competition took place in Alvin on March 2nd. Our athletes competed in the Individual Skills portion and did a great job of representing El Campo!

Headed to STATE are Kaylynn Mendez, Selene Rodriguez, Ally Sohrt, Scarlett Martin, Bethany Huggins, Aribel Zarate, Destiny Martinez, and Kennedee Paul. Alternates Jordyn Maldonado and Isabella Dominguez. 🏆 And, congratulations to the Unequipped Lifters, Cristina Garza and Adrienne Rodriguez! They competed against 1A-6A competition and were #2 and #3 in the whole region in their weight classes! 💪
