Congratulations to the 2024 homecoming King Caleb Hudlin!

Let's Go 🏐 and 🏈!!!!!

Advanced floral design students spent the day delivering homecoming mums and garters to Life Skills students at Myatt, Hutchins, Northside, Middle School, and High School campuses. Making the projects is always fun, but delivering them is even better! It was a joyful day for everyone involved! See the fun here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGR-U3Ka0I/-lCMxERaLTRfApLjmObixQ/watch?utm_content=DAGR-U3Ka0I&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=editor

200 first year floral design students in Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Zahn’s classes constructed a 19 foot mega mum in honor of homecoming week. A special thanks to the Ag Mech students for cutting the 4ft plywood circle to make the top, the Derby Dolls for the pom poms, and Mr. Jeff Balcar and crew for getting it hung in the gym and then moving it to the football field for the game. It truly was a team effort and we have the best RICEBIRD team! Come see it in person on Friday at the 8:30 am pep rally! And, see behind the scene here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGR3ajI7os/pS4I1Pw6_bafdIx-KrGRSA/watch?utm_content=DAGR3ajI7os&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=editor

Who will it be??? Stay tuned to see who wins the title of Homecoming King & Queen!

Queen candidates are Lizzie Erwin, Isabella Vargas, Jillian Croix, and Jada Acuna .
The King will be crowned Friday morning at the 8:30 pep rally, and the Queen will be crowned during pre-game ceremonies on Friday evening.

First year floral design students have been working hard and having fun learning the steps of making homecoming mums. It involved lots of measuring, cutting, hot gluing, and learning a variety of braids. It takes about 7 days in class to complete all the steps. Check them out!
