🏐 Game Day Alert 🏈 Tonight's home game lineup: 5:00 Varsity Ladybirds | 6:00 JV Ladybirds | 6:00 Freshman Ladybirds | 7:00 Ricebird Football. Friendly reminder for parents: Students, Grade 8 and younger, must be accompanied by an adult at Ricebird football games. Parents may not drop students off at the stadium without an adult in attendance. Students must be seated in the stands and may not roam. Students may be asked to leave the stadium with non-compliance.

ECMS: Collins Music Center Instrument Evening
Thursday, August 31st ECMS will have Collins Music Center at the ECMS cafeteria to set your child up with an instrument if you haven’t purchased one already.
They will work with all financial situations - they have rental instruments, rent to own instruments, new instruments, and used instruments for outright purchasing.
If you would like to swing by on this night versus going to the instrument store, they will
be there from 5 pm to 7 pm in the cafeteria. This is a come and go situation. Spanish
speakers will be on site as well. We hope to see you there.

escuela secundaria El Campo para prepararle a su hijo un instrumento si aún no ha
comprado uno. Trabajarán con todas las situaciones financieras y tendrán alquiler de
instrumentos, alquiler con opción a compra de instrumentos, instrumentos nuevos e
instrumentos usados para su compra directa.
Si desea pasar esta noche en lugar de ir a la tienda de instrumentos, estaremos aquí de 5
p. m. a 7 p. m. en la cafetería. Esta es una situación de idas y venidas. Habrá
hispanohablantes en el lugar también.

Students can purchase yearbooks for $20 in the mornings by the gym. If students purchase before 9/8/2023, they will be entered in a drawing to receive their money back and their yearbook for free!

Do you have an old instrument in your house collecting dust? Maybe you had a child that has long since graduated and given up playing their instrument? ECMS is collecting any used band instruments that you would be willing to donate to our middle school band program. We want all students who have an interest in music to have an instrument to play! We will be accepting donated instruments at a drop off location at ECMS cafeteria on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5pm - 7pm. Please share this information with family, friends and neighbors! Thank you for helping encourage a young musician.
🎈 Mrs. Guthrie's STEM class at ECMS worked in teams to complete their first STEM challenge of the year. The engineering mission is to build the tallest, freestanding tower using a bag of balloons and masking tape. Students worked together to blow up the balloons and find a way to hold them together for a tower, hoping to be the tallest in the room.
