
World Down Syndrome Day in ECISD!
All around the world, advocates take part in the Lots of Socks campaign to raise awareness about Down syndrome

Students in the ECHS Health Science Phlebotomy Program are working to get their license to draw blood as a Phlebotomist. The students need community volunteers to help reach their required 30 successful venipuncture sticks.
All participants will be entered into a drawing to win Visa gift cards ranging in value from $50 - $300. One entry per stick!
Days: April 10, 16, 22, 23, and May 1.
Time: 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Place: ECHS Building H - Ave F & Ash St.

Do you understand recruiting rules for NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA? How many scholarships are available at each level? We will help you understand the recruiting process! Athletes and Parents are invited to attend to join us in learning about the recruiting process and how to be eligible to play at the collegiate level.

On Thursday, March 21st, we welcome everyone to wear their favorite socks to mark World Down Syndrome Day! We will be celebrating everything that makes all of us different, and yet the same. Simply choose some socks that are going to get noticed.
They might be mismatched socks, your craziest and most colorful socks, or whatever makes you happy!

ECISD will be closed for Fair Day on Friday, March 22nd. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25th.

Reminder: Spring Break is right around the corner! Students will have early dismissal on Friday, March 8th to kick off Spring Break.
Classes resume on Tuesday, March 19th after teachers have a staff development day on Monday, March 18th.

Padres - Habrá clases de Inglés para adultos en la escuela El Campo Middle School los sábados, empezando el 6 de abril 2024. Las clases serán de las 8:00 hasta las 10:oo de la mañana. Parents - There will be English classes for adults at El Campo Middle School on Saturdays, starting April 6, 2024. Classes will be from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

At the Technology Student Association regional contest in Katy, the following ECMS students earned some awards:
The Coding team of Jack Wortham and Vivian Daniel placed 2nd and will advance to state!
The Problem Solving team of Whitley Mican and Jack Wortham placed 2nd and will advance to state!
Ava York placed 5th in Career Prep and advances to state.
The Problem Solving team of John Jia and Mario Solis placed in the Top Ten!
The Children’s Stories team of Vivian Daniel and Emmarie Barnes placed in the Top Ten!
The TSA state competition will be in Fort Worth in April.
