The Ricebird Roasts are back in action, serving the staff of ECMS.
On January 24, 2024, El Campo ISD's Board of Trustees will hold a Public Meeting at 5:45 pm. The Regular Meeting will follow at 6:00 pm. Both meetings will be at the Administration Building, 700 W. Norris, El Campo, TX.
All meetings of the Board are open to the public and are posted on the District website. These meetings are your opportunity to witness the business of the school district and you are always welcome to attend.

Incoming 9th -12th graders: Packets available at your school. Mandatory parent and student meeting on February 9th @ 6:00 pm at Ricebird Gym.
Incoming 7th and 8th graders: Mandatory parent and student meeting on Monday, February 12th @ 6:00 pm in the ECMS cafeteria.
Tryouts will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 10:00 am at ECHS.

ECMS 8th Graders! You are invited to RICEBIRD PREVIEW! Join us on Tuesday, January 30, at 5:00 pm in the ECHS Auditorium. Parents and 8th grade students are invited to learn more about ECHS Course Selections, CTE Programs of Study, and Clubs/Organizations.
After carefully reviewing the weather and road conditions predicted for tomorrow, all El Campo ISD campuses and departments will have an on-time 7:50 am start on Wednesday, January 17.

After closely monitoring the weather and road conditions, and in an abundance of caution for our students and staff, ECISD will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16. Be safe. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 17.
ECISD will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of MLK Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 16.
**WINTER WEATHER WATCH** We are actively monitoring the weather for next week. The present forecast calls for cold temperatures with a slight chance of freezing precipitation. We expect to be in school on Tuesday and Wednesday at this time so please have your children dress accordingly. If something changes that would impact the safety of our students and staff we will let you know through our parent contact system by email, text message, and/or phone call.
