The Remarkable Ricebird Award acknowledges teachers who exhibit the outstanding Ricebird Spirit. Our district is full of teachers and staff who do remarkable things daily and this is an opportunity to recognize everything they bring to the Ricebird Team.
Congratulations to El Campo ISD's Remarkable Ricebirds for the months of October & November - Amanda Acosta of El Campo Middle School, Laura Prihoda of Hutchins, and Brittany Rives of Northside. Nominated by their peers and selected by the Remarkable Ricebird selection committee, these teachers go beyond basic "Capturing Kids Hearts" expectations and show kids more of their hearts. They consistently incorporate Character and Leadworthy lessons beyond their basic curriculum; build relationships with others beyond their students; connect with kids and mentor them; create a feeling of belonging; and will invest their personal time in support of students. Way to go Ricebirds!
