Welcome back to the 2022-2023 ECISD school year. It may seem early to begin talking about the return to school, but in the light of recent events, we would like to hear your thoughts regarding the safety of your children while they are in our care.
To give you an opportunity to discuss our next steps, we have organized 3 public events over the next few weeks. Our first meeting will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, 1401 Avenue I, on Tuesday, July 12th, at 6:00 p.m. The second meeting will be held at the Civic Center, 2350 N. Mechanic St., Monday, July 18th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Myatt room. A third meeting is set for Monday, July 25, 6:00 p.m., at Pilgrim's Rest Church, 810 Palacios Street.
Please make every attempt to join us to express your thoughts and concerns, and to be able to ask members of the School Safety & Security committee your questions. We hope to see you soon at one of these important meetings.
