At last night's school board meeting, the board recognized Jeff Orsak, assistant principal at ECHS, as the TASSP Region 3 Assistant Principal of the Year, and celebrated our Remarkable Ricebirds—Hutchins teacher, Mealissa Hoppe, and Northside teachers Brenda Harp and Holli Cadenhead. The board also recognized and thanked "Middle School Business Partners" — First State Bank, Edward Jones, YK Communications, BLS Construction, Laura's Café, Rotary Club, and The Young Foundation.
The board also heard about the district's 2024 FIRST rating of 100 and approved the Elementary Construction Design for the new wing at Hutchins.
