kids waving american flags and holding a thank you veterans banner

El Campo ISD invites all Veterans and their families residing in El Campo and the surrounding communities to participate in our Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Meet at the El Campo High School Strength & Conditioning parking lot on Pecan Street. The parade starts at 8:15, with the High School Band performing the “Star Spangled Banner” and “TAPS” to honor our fallen soldiers.

Veterans will then follow the parade leader to Myatt, Northside, Hutchins, ECISD Business Office, the high school, St. Philip School, and the middle school. After passing through the middle school, Veterans may disperse in the direction they need to go about their day.

We also encourage businesses along N. Mechanic from Ave C to the West Loop to step out and give the Veterans a wave as they make their way to the middle school around 9:00 am.

Veterans, please feel free to decorate your cars. Veterans will be able to stay in their vehicles while being recognized for their service at each campus.   Parents, please understand that due to traffic issues, this parade is for our students to honor our Veterans. It is not for parents to drive in unless you are a Veteran.

There is no need to register to be in the parade. Please show up and be ready to roll at 8:15 am.
