At last night's board meeting, they celebrated and recognized the Class of 2025 Valedictorian, Brooke Bacak, and Salutatorian, Dylan Johnson, our State Track and Field qualifier, Madison Holmes, and our Remarkable Ricebirds, Kim Grudzieski of Northside Elementary, Vicki Garcia of Hutchins Elementary, and Rosie Almanzar of El Campo High School.
Trustees James Cannell, James Russell, and Clayton Ryan were sworn in for multi-year terms. James Cannell will be finishing the final two years of a three-year term, and James Russell and Clayton Ryan will be starting three-year terms. The board also reorganized, with James Russell returning as president, Anthony Dorotik as vice president, and Susan Nohavitza as secretary.
Additionally, the board canvassed the bond election results and accepted a donation from Prosperity Bank to replace the scoreboard at Ricebird Stadium.
