The Ladybirds brought home the Regional Title from the Regional Meet held in Bay City where they had 20 girls representing El Campo. Nine lifters punched their tickets to the big show in Frisco along with two alternates! Headed to STATE are Kaylynn Mendez, Selene Rodriguez, Ally Sohrt, Scarlett Martin, Bethany Huggins, Aribel Zarate, Destiny Martinez, Kennedee Paul, and Cristina Garza. Alternates are Jordyn Maldonado and Isabella Dominguez. The Unequipped Lifters, Cristina Garza and Adrienne Rodriguez competed against 1A-6A competition and were #2 and #3 in the whole region in their weight classes!
And, for the first time since the Powerlifting program has been brought back, five El Campo Ricebird lifters are heading to STATE in Abilene! Congratulations to Dallas Anzaldua, Stephen Norman, Camdyn Phillips, Aiden Garcia, and Nicolas Debo!
