Please see the notice farther down this page regarding Texas Immunization Requirements for entering 7th grade students. Current 6th graders will need to provide proof of the immunizations before a 7th grade class schedule will be issued.

The school nurse will be mailing shot records to your address of record and you should expect to receive it during the week of February 22, 2010.

Students (or parents) may bring $35 to
their grade level counselor. Once the sales
quota is reached, ordering will cease.
So order yours as soon as possible!

Attendance is taken EVERY CLASS PERIOD at the middle school.
Parents who sign out a child even for a single class period
must send a note when the child returns to school
in order for the absence to be cleared.

Important changes in Texas
immunization requirements:

All students entering 7th grade
must have the following immunizations:

• Varicella (Chicken Pox) or a written statement
• Tetanus, Diptheria and acellular pertussis (Tdap)
• Meningococcal

Local clinics which provide immunizations and influenza vaccines are the South Texas Medical Clinic (543-2956) and Mid-Coast Medical Clinic (543-5510.)
