ECHS Bulletin

August 30 – Sept. 3, 2010

 

Blood Drive- Student Council will hold a blood drive on September 2nd. Every time you give blood, you are saving at least one life, maybe three. If you gave at the blood drive last May, and give again on the 2nd, you will receive a $20 HEB gift card. Also, all donors will receive a drawstring gym bag. 16 year old students may give with parent permission. So sign up in the office or in Mrs. Kresta’s room to reserve your time slot.

 

Club Meetings- STARS club is having a meeting this Wed, Sept 1st in Mrs. Skinner’s room A222 at 3:33. If you are interested in the Fall Production, tournaments, or debating please attend.

  HOSA-Health Occupation Students of America will be having a meeting on Friday, Sept, 10 during club period in the Science Lecture Hall. All students interested in joining a club that is dedicated to service for others should attend. 

 

Dance Classes- All of Mrs. May’s classes will be held in the High School Auditorium until further notice.

 

Drivers Ed - The next session of Drivers Ed. will begin this afternoon. Classes are from 3:40 to 5:10. Registration forms are available in the Principals Office. The deadline to apply is today.

 

Elks Student -10th, 11th, and 12 grade students interested in being an Elks Student of the Month need to fill out an application. It can be downloaded from the ECHS website. This application is based on academics, school activities, and community service.  Turn in applications to the counselors.

 

Parking Permits- Students driving to school must register their vehicle in the office. You can pick up a parking permit contract and return it to the office with your insurance and drivers license to receive your parking tag. The fee will be $10.00. Replacement parking permits will cost $15.00 Students are not to park on Ave. F or behind the AVS building.

 

Tutorials – Will be offered Mon –Thursday from 3:45- 4:45 beginning next week. Schedules will be posted on all bulletin boards.

Any medical excuse from a doctor must be turned in to the office within three days of returning to school.  Medical notes turned in after three days will NOT be counted toward make-up days.
