El Campo ISD is committed to meeting the unique needs of all students. The Response to Intervention (RtI) Process is a 3-tiered process that allows the district to identify students in need of intervention early and provide specific, intensified supports and programming so that all students can successfully master state standards and ultimately earn a high school diploma.
Research shows that approximately 80% of students are successful with the general education classroom approach and curriculum. RtI is the process that identifies and supports the 20% who may need additional supports in the areas of mathematics, reading, and behavior.
