No single leader can do what is required to refashion schools and classrooms, but what I can do is be a catalyst for educators who come to share the vision Everyone Counts. It is important that the district goals align with what our community believes and values. I know the first time I read the district goals I thought – Hey, sign me up! El Campo is fortunate to have a school board that sets high expectations and provides focused monitoring documents and a cycle of effective classroom instruction with supports to guide our educators’ work as we move forward. Our community is very fortunate to have leaders, teachers and support staff that love and believe in children. Go Ricebirds!
